What is Sotto Luce?

Sotto Luce is a modern lighting brand well-known all over Europe. Our products are carefully designed without compromising on quality. Although they are 100% customisable, we deliver them fast (the normal lead time is 2-3 working days) and always do our best to ensure the best possible price.

Why should I buy Sotto Luce products?

We make it easy for you to enjoy excellent contemporary lighting. Our designs are both classy and unique, and we make products you will want to hold on to for a very long time.

The name is Italian, where is Sotto Luce from?

We are a truly European company. Our R&D and sourcing department is located in Spain and our central warehouse and assembly plant in Poland. Sotto Luce lamps are made exclusively of components provided by trusted European suppliers.

Can I speak to someone in person?

Of course! We are available to answer your questions every day via email at support@sottoluce.com. When you get in touch, you will be introduced to a person who will take care of your questions or your order, from the initial enquiry to the order shipment.

How good is the quality of Sotto Luce lighting fittings?

We design our lamp fittings down to the finest detail. Our product development team obsesses over materials and finishes to deliver high-quality products. All products are tested and meet all CE mark requirements. Get in touch with us with questions related to the specific fittings or consult the data-sheet of each fitting.

Where are the Sotto Luce products made?

All of our lamps are designed, developed and manufactured in Europe. In our Sotto Luce assembly plant in Poland, we improve the prototypes of our products until we are satisfied with each detail. In terms of glass manufacturing, we work only with the best European producers of hand-blown and hand-decorated lighting glass.

Will I receive the same product as I see in the photo?

High resolution photos of our products are meant to reflect every detail of each fitting. However, you may find certain discrepancies between what you saw in a photo and the light fitting you have just received. Please, remember that the colours shown in photos almost always differ from the real ones and that all our lamps are hand-made which means that every one of them is, to a certain extent, unique.

How do I place my order?

Your orders can be placed quickly and easily via our website. Just add the products you want to your cart and go to the checkout. After giving us the necessary information we need for your order, you can place your order and look forward to your much-anticipated new lamps.

Do I need to register to make purchases?

No, the registration is not necessary, although welcome, because it allows us to contact you directly about our special offers and sales.

How can I pay for my Sotto Luce order?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal payment options to make it as secure and convenient for you as possible.

What payment method can I use for my purchases?

How is my payment processed?

We work with PayPal, a well-established payment provider. All communication is done via a fully secure connection.

To ensure a smooth processing of your order, your card will be charged immediately after placing the order.

Is is possible to cancel an order?

Yes, provided that the packaging and dispatch process has not yet begun. You can request cancellation by sending us an email at support@sottoluce.com.

We currently ship to: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. For orders to other countries, please get in touch and we will do our best to find the right solution for you.

How much does Sotto Luce charge for shipping?

It depends on where you live and on the weight of the product. We offer free shipping for all orders whose total value exceeds EUR 500 per parcel of up to 30 kg. See the shipping charges at checkout.

How long do I have to wait for my products?

We do our best to ship your products within 2-3 working days from the payment verification. We will let you know asap the expected shipment time of your product.

What is our delivery policy?

For parcel products, we will assemble and ship the products to you as quickly as possible after the the payment verification. Read our Shipping & Return Policy for more details.

Does my product come with a guarantee?

To provide you with the best possible experience, there is a 24-month-long guarantee on our products. Our aim is to create and deliver products that are fully functional upon receipt and made with superior-quality craftsmanship. If you are unhappy for any reason, please contact us and we will do all we can to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase.

What is our return policy?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Once you have received your delivery, please inspect it for quality. We will return, refund or replace any item that arrives damaged. If you are not happy with your item, you may return your undamaged and unused lamp within 14 days. Due to the high quality materials used in the manufacture of Sotto Luce products, the customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with returning a non-damaged item.
